I will be able to implement, organise, co-ordinate my suggestion of a public event by:: Not turning up, not plugging in. One member will be sleeping throughout.

I would like to suggest the following public event to celebrate this year s No Music Day:: if you're in istanbul, there will be a "no music day" event tonight at yeni melek gosteri merkezi at 9.00 pm.

I would like to suggest the following public event to celebrate this year s No Music Day: As part of this event I will be staging a gig of Dead Dog Mountain Songs from the full catalouge of work in silence at Trafalar Square at 1pm. There will be no singing, no drums no guitars and no sound. The band covered many complex and important issues in their music over the year and this will be a chance to enjoy and observe those elements without the distraction of sound of music, drugs, flashing lights or cavorting punks bodies. This is in support of the NO MUSIC DAY statement. the performance will last about 1 hour and is free and interactive. but we do request that you do not sing

I would like to suggest the following public event to celebrate this year's No Music Day: Shut down Myspace for a day and unplug all speakers and headphones.

I will be able to implement, organise, co-ordinate my suggestion of a public event by: Not logging on to Myspace, listening only to speech-based radio, leaving my iPod at home and not turning on any stereo or music program. Not making music, not playing music, not singing in the shower. Like a (I hate the word) detox.

I would like to suggest the following public event to celebrate this year's No Music Day: We at UNIT (an avant rock group) call upon all buskers to continue working - but do so in silence. Mime playing and singing in the street - watch the reaction of the public. When some of them question what you're doing, you have gained their interest and can then enter into an interesting debate with them about the role music has in society and why you are observing no music day. Also, the idea of people throwing money into your hat in exchange for a non-performance amuses us.

I would like to suggest the following public event to celebrate this year's No Music Day: Other uses for instruments, Ie - Guitar for fishing rod, trumpet for hearing aid, piano for plynth, decord deck for pottery and on.. Just one question, what about the birds, how are you going to explain to them about this No Music Day, or does it only apply to humans?
